Kenyan AA
Tasting Notes
The highlands of Central Kenya provide excellent conditions for coffee plants to flourish. Rich, loamy soil and the perfect balance of sunlight and rainfall go a long way to producing Kenya’s famous 100% Arabica coffee. Known for its intense flavour, medium body, deliciously fragrant, crisp, fruity and pleasant aroma. Little wonder high grade Kenyan coffee is one of the most sought after coffees in the world.
Kenyan AA is a classification of Kenyan coffee grading, comprised of only the largest, best-shaped and densest coffee beans available on the high plateaus of Mount Kenya and through the Great Rift Valley from which they are cultivated, in many farms still picked by hand.
Storing Your Coffee
We do not believe in putting top quality coffee in cheap paper bags. All our coffee is packed in foil bags that have a one-way valve to ensure freshness. Our 250g/500g bags also have the convenience of a zip seal, again to retain the coffee in prime condition. The specialist foil bag will ensure the last cup is as good as the first.
We recommend our coffee bags are zip sealed, then stored in a cool dark place. If you purchase coffee in kilo bags, then please ensure that you do not overfill your machine hopper, otherwise the beans will become stale and the oil will come to the surface of the bean. Store the remainder of the beans in an airtight containter, in a cool dark place.
